A Stocky alternative for the part everyone misses: what to reorder
Stocky stopped working on August 31, 2026. Shopify's built-in purchase orders create and receive orders, but they don't tell you how much to buy. Stockodds does one job: from your sales history, it suggests a quantity and an order-by date for every product.
What you get
- A reorder quantity per product, based on your own sales over the last 180 days.
- The latest date you can order and still keep your chance of running out under the level you choose (for example 5%).
- Planned promotions, such as a Black Friday sale, built into the forecast.
- A label per product (steady, uneven, spiky, limited history) and the evidence behind it, so you know which numbers to trust.
How it works
- In Shopify, go to Orders → Export → CSV.
- Open the planner and choose the file. It is processed in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
- Enter supplier lead time, how long an order should last, and units on hand.
What it doesn't do (yet)
It doesn't create purchase orders, receive stock or run stock counts, and it can't see inventory history, so a product that was out of stock looks like one nobody wanted. Pair it with Shopify's native purchase orders, or tell us which of these matters most to you.
